  • Large grapevine wreath (I got mine at Hobby Lobby for 40% off making it $15)
  • Fresh greenery (cedar clippings and juniper clippings)
  • Faux ivy greenery (borrowed from my mom but I bet you could find similar at Hobby Lobby)
  • Pinecones
  • Berry garland (mine was from Hobby Lobby and 50% 0ff making it $10)
  • floral wire
  • scissors
  • wreath hanger (also from Hobby Lobby)

How do you make a Homemade Christmas wreath?

You will need:

  • 1 wire wreath frame
  • Floristry wire
  • Willow, or similar branches, which can be found in parks
  • Three or four handfuls of moss (enough to fill your particular wreath ring)
  • 10 small pine branches
  • A few stems of berried eucalyptus
  • Three or four handfuls of pink and white peppercorn branches
  • A handful of sage (to full any gaps)

  • 30cm floral foam ring (soak the ring before you start)
  • Fine and stiff florists’ wire
  • Variegated evergreens
  • Holly berries
  • Crab apples
  • Ornamental cabbage

  • One 18 to 24 inch (45.7 to 61.0 cm) wreath base, grapevine or pine
  • One full 6′ or longer greenery swag
  • Brown or green pipe cleaners OR light floral wire
  • One bunch large-headed silk focal flowers selected for the season (Poinsettias for Christmas, Sunflowers for Fall, Pastel Daisies for Spring, etc.)
